Keyword Triggers
A keyword reply is built as a flow: when a customer's message matches a keyword, the attached flow runs. Matching: strict means the whole message equals the keyword, similar means the keyword appears inside the message — both stay exactly as before. Partial is a third, opt-in mode you choose per trigger: enough important words of the phrase match as whole words, even with a small typo (see How the three match modes work below). A trigger with a flow runs that flow first; if the flow is not published, its reply text is used instead, and a trigger with neither a published flow nor reply text does not reply.
Build this reply as a flow opens the Flow Builder for this keyword. Save the flow there, then come back here and pick it in the Attached flow list.
The result lists every trigger, which words matched, any typo matches with their distance, and why each trigger fired or did not.
Strict — the whole message must equal the keyword, nothing more. Example: keyword “hi” fires only on the message “hi”, not on “hi please”.
Similar — the keyword appears inside the message, with spaces and hyphens ignored. Example: keyword “delivery time” fires on “what is the delivery time please” and on “delivery-time?”. Similar has no typo tolerance: a misspelled word does not match.
Partial — opt-in per trigger. The phrase is split into important words, small filler words are ignored, and the trigger fires when enough important words appear as whole words in the message: at least 1 important word for a 1–2 word phrase, at least half (rounded up) for longer phrases. Matching ignores upper/lower case and punctuation. Example: keyword “order status” fires on “mera order kahan hai” (1 of 2 important words matched, only 1 needed) and on “oder status” (oder is a 1-letter typo of order), but not on “mera kahan hai” (0 of 2 matched).
Partial typo rule — a message word counts for a trigger word when it is identical, or differs by exactly 1 letter (one letter added, removed or changed), but only when the trigger word has 5 or more letters. Short words never typo-match, so “cat” never fires “car”. Typo tolerance exists only in partial mode.
