Message type is stored on the submission only — the Meta payload itself is unchanged. Catalogue and Flows types need a connected catalogue or flow at send time.

Named variables send with their names; numbered variables send in position order. In numbered mode every insert adds the next number.

Other button types (complete-flow, offer-code, contact-sharing, WhatsApp-call) are not offered here because the submit path only sends quick-reply, website-link and phone-number buttons.

If no custom period is set, Meta applies its standard period. Upvort does not set that standard.

Step 3 — Submit for Review

Saving submits this template to that client's own Meta WABA. Approval comes from Meta sync only — a submitted template is never shown as approved here until Meta reports it.
